The name of this work, Cymatic Kinesiology™, refers to two foundational pillars that are integral to the training, precision muscle testing and cymatic therapy.

Precision Muscle Testing

Precision Muscle Testing is the gold standard in professional Specialized Kinesiology practice. Muscle testing is a bio-electrical communication method, that once mastered, affords the practitioner the opportunity to access and pinpoint otherwise unavailable information with precise specificity. It is a phenomenal tool of immense value to the practitioner. Learn more here

Cymatic Therapy

Cymatic Therapy is the therapeutic use of sound. There are many different methodologies for the application of therapeutic sound. Cymatic Therapy is an umbrella term used to reference all types of sound healing in general. Tuning forks are the primary cymatic instrument taught in the Cyma-K training. This is due to their broad scope of application, excellent compatibility with the Meridian system of Chinese Medicine, their potential for a high degree of precision and overall versatility. Other sound applications such as rattle, voice, and more are also taught.

These two foundational pillars are interwoven into the rich tapestry of applications and methodologies that unfold throughout the varied processes of Cymatic Kinesiology.

COURSE STRUCTURE

The course is structured to accommodate two key concepts for training:

  1. Accessibility to those who already work and lead full, busy lives.
  2. Adequate time between training levels for students to apply and integrate each body of work so as to provide a solid foundation for the subsequent levels of training.

The training consists of three levels:

Level 1-Intern, (Undergraduate: student practitioner)

Level 2-Graduate (Certified Cyma-K™ Practitioner)

Level 3-Advanced (Certified with advanced practitioner designation)

Levels One and Two, each consist of a four day workshop once a month for six months. Practicum assignments require students to exchange one session per week between workshops. Total classroom hours per level = 192 (32 hours per 4 day workshop x 6) plus 80 hours of practice sessions for a total of 272 hours of training per level.

Upon completion of Level One – Intern, (undergraduate) students are required to apply what they have learned for several months in order to gain confidence in their use and understanding of the work before progressing to Level 2. Level One practitioners are student practitioners completing an internship and will represent themselves as such to their clients. Students must complete the Level 2 course in order to graduate as a qualified Cyma-K™ Practitioner. The timing of Level Two Training will be scheduled to accommodate the internship requirement period.

Level 3 provides further expansion of the work and leads to the designation ‘Advanced Practitioner’. The Level 3 course structure may vary from the previous levels.

The Cyma-K™ training provides the practitioner with a diverse, unique, leading edge skill-set and a solid foundation for a lifelong rewarding career.

Foundational Concepts of the Learning Journey

The Cyma-K™ training is experiential and hands on, right from the get go. Students will be taking the archetypal ‘Hero’s Journey’, otherwise known as ‘walking the path of the wounded healer’. In sharing the gifts of wisdom, insight and compassion that is borne from our own inner journey, the true value of healing is recognized, integrated, and expanded upon. This work goes into the depths of personal process, and as such, it is not for the novice in these matters. It is for those who are already on an established path of psycho-emotional healing, self liberation and personal evolution.  The training is more than just the means by which you learn how to facilitate Cyma-K for others. It is an opportunity to take your own self healing to the next level, in fact, that is an inherent requirement, since the training is process driven and will unfold organically as we journey this path together.

    KEY CONCEPTS/COMPATIBILITY

There are several key concepts that form the foundation of this work. These concepts have to do with frequency dynamics and are fundamental to the safe and successful completion of the Cyma-K™ training program. It is essential that any interested party be in agreement and alignment with these concepts if they wish to submit an application for the course.  These concepts, involving entrainment, coherence, entropy and trajectories are described in this audio file* for further elucidation, and to help clarify whether or not this training is a good match for you. All interested parties are required to listen to the audio file. Applications will be considered on an individual basis.

    CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR ENROLLMENT

Yes, of course these factors will be obvious to most mature practitioners that might be considering taking the training, but this text is, after all, on the internet, and it behooves us to be VERY CLEAR on these matters right from the start so that all may navigate appropriately to their rightful place in the universe! So here we go.

    FAQs

I am an energy healer with experience in multiple techniques, but I do not have any formal training in anatomy and physiology. Would this exclude me from applying?2026-04-21T12:12:35-04:00

No, it would not exclude you, however those with knowledge of anatomy and physiology will be at an advantage in that area. You can catch up, though. Those without A & P education are required to avail themselves of the free resources afforded by the many YouTube channels and other online resources that teach these subjects. You can do this alongside the Cyma-K training, in your own time. If you have found this webpage in advance of the next course start date, you will have the opportunity to get some basics under your belt before we start. Plus you will learn whatever A & P presents organically as the training unfolds, so you are welcome to apply. Sam Webster is good; also check out KenHub and Anatomy Zone. Plus of course, there are books. Clemente’s Anatomy: A Regional Atlas of the Human Body is excellent and beautifully illustrated. You can also ask a massage therapist or two what books they recommend. Start by watching some YouTube videos on anatomical position and directional terms. They are quick and easy to learn and fundamental to the training. This is a requirement.

I am not clear on the terms ‘muscle testing’ and ‘kinesiology’. Are they the same thing?2026-04-21T12:17:57-04:00

All muscle testing is kinesiology, but not all kinesiology is muscle testing. Kinesiology is the study of movement. There are two primary categories, or distinctions. Kinesiology is the study of the physical movement of the human body. Specialized Kinesiology refers to the study of the movement of energy and information within the human bodymind complex. Specialized kinesiology always involves some type of muscle testing. This concept is further explained here.

Does this course provide CEUs for other professions?2026-04-21T12:18:58-04:00

No. This is a stand-alone course. Cyma-K is an in-depth, comprehensive practitioner training program and as such is a complete course of study in its own field; however Life Spectrum Institute does provide CE courses for LMTs.

I have taken several trainings in different branches of holistic healing. Some are very casual, informal and with minimal structure; others are stricter with formal structure. Where does the Cyma-K training fit along that scale?2026-04-27T12:07:27-04:00

The Cyma-K training upholds the highest standards of education, both academically and within the arena of group dynamics and energetic hygiene. The nature of this work requires impeccable ethics and respect for the coherence and sanctity of the group. Clear, strong boundaries for student conduct are upheld. So the training does have a strict and formal structure. For example, punctuality is a requirement and tardiness is grounds for dismissal. However, given that the work is experiential and process driven, there may be some variability in how each practice session is addressed to meet the unique needs of each case. This is less the case in the earlier stages of learning, but more so as one advances further in the training. The flexibility of what arises organically for learning is still held within the strict boundaries that provide the safety and respect that are necessary for this work.

    CONTEXT

We are living in exceptional times of monumental change. Amid the turmoil and static of overstimulation, people are waking up, questioning external realities, seeking deeper meaning and looking for a sense of purpose and fulfillment. They are beginning to recognize their own woundedness as they grapple with the challenges of living in a deeply dysfunctional society. They are looking for healing. And then there are those who are already well established on their awakening journey, yet they struggle to find those who are capable of supporting them in healing the soul trauma they know they still carry. They seek to move fully into the fulfillment of living their highest vision of service to the greater good; many are themselves, also healers, visionaries, way-showers and teachers. They need help too. They need YOUR help.

    CYMA-K

There has never been a greater need for highly skilled, compassionate, conscious healers that can accompany their clients beyond the confines of established therapeutic paradigms into the realms of liberation, transformation and empowerment. The Cyma-K™ training is for those courageous souls who have what it takes to be the trailblazers at the leading edge of frequency medicine, trauma resolution, and vibrational healing. For those that feel called, know that those who need your skills and unique gifts are waiting for you.
